We first measured 4WM signal dependence on a seed (Toptica pump entering the fiber). We see the logarithmic increase until saturation, which happens at 10-20 uW.

1st of November. DLCZ period 20 microseconds, delay between pumps is 150 ns.

We measured in a pulsed regime dependence of 4WM signal on a side pump MBR. RBW = VBW = 5MHz. Sweep time 50 us. Pulses were 5us long and spaced with 5us. The maximum signal we achieved was ~7mV. Problems:

  • When we look at the signal after locking the cavity it is maximum and then decreases.
  • As well sometimes there is a modulation on top of the signals.
  • Cavity lock is unstable in the pulsed regime: breaks the lock after 3 minutes.
