We made resonant amplifier for EOM driver. The schematics consists from transformer with SMA connecters on both ends. One coil with inductance 46uH from the pair creates resonant LC circuits with the capacitance of 22pF of the EOM.

Thus it amplifies the signal ideally by Q factor of the resonator. The resonant frequency of the circuit is about 5.57 MHz. It may slightly vary depending on the connection (extra capacitance).

We send about ~360uW photodetector on the photodetector and see up to 5x increase of an optical phase modulation amplitude from ~1.5 mV to ~8 mV. It is important to align the EOM properly after detecting the modulation.

We measured a new Taiwanese crystal Pr:YSO at 4.2 Kelvin. The lifetime, optical depth and imhomogeneous broadening were as expected.
