Welcome to Quantum Kot,
the global repository of the experimental details of quantum optics

Quantum Kot is a wiki project dedicated to the advancement of the quantum optics and related themes. Sponsored by Gatito and founded on 10 December 2015. We are always looking for more contributors.

ECDL = external cavity diode laser.

Laser diode = LD.[1]

We will discuss mechanical parts of our laser and how to put them together here: laser assembly. Each laser requires couple of electronic components list of which with descriptions could be found here (electronic parts of ECDL), and at last the sequence of steps for frequeny tuning is Laser feedback adjustment.
